Overview
We are urgently recruiting a Ministry Operations & Growth Manager who will become a central part of iChurch’s day-to-day operations.
This is not simply a conventional 9-to-5 administrative role. We are looking for someone who is:

The person will help translate vision into organised programmes, projects, campaigns, volunteer activities, communication and measurable outcomes.
The person should be a strong generalist and executor who can take ownership.

iChurch Initiative is a Christian nonprofit ministry committed to bringing more people closer to Jesus through technology, media, evangelism, family support, prayer, Christian community and practical service.
We build and operate initiatives serving individuals, families and churches, including Unionary, iChurch Stream, iChurch Bible Quiz, iChurch Kids, iChurch OS, Jesuser, Unionary Hangouts, prayer programmes, weekly evangelism, hospital evangelism and support, prison evangelism and support, and our Annual Conference.

Key Responsibilities
A. Ministry Operations
- Translate leadership decisions into tasks and execution plans
- Coordinate programmes, projects and activities
- Manage calendars, deadlines and follow-ups
- Ensure teams have the information and resources they need
- Document meetings, decisions and progress
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports
- Identify operational problems early and drive issues to resolution
- Maintain strong administrative systems
B. Volunteer Management
- Review volunteer applications
- Coordinate screening and onboarding
- Understand volunteers’ skills, interests and availability
- Match volunteers to ministries, projects and tasks
- Maintain volunteer records and follow up on commitments
- Help project leads find the capacity they need
- Coordinate orientation and meetings
- Build an organised, spiritually grounded volunteer culture
Volunteers may serve 30 minutes a week, several hours a week, one-off, recurring, or through professional services, equipment, resources or craft.
C. Digital Marketing & Communications
- Social media strategy and execution, content calendars, online community growth
- Coordinate designers, writers, editors and creative volunteers
- Digital campaigns and campaign measurement
- Email and WhatsApp communication
- Product and programme communication
- Volunteer recruitment and donor/support campaigns
- Consistent messaging
You do not need to personally design or edit everything, but you must understand digital communication well enough to coordinate, review and drive outcomes.
D. Project & Product Coordination
Coordination across Unionary, iChurch Stream, iChurch Bible Quiz, iChurch Kids, iChurch OS, Jesuser, hospital and prison evangelism, weekly evangelism, prayer, Unionary Hangouts and the Annual Conference.

E. Events & Community
Prayer meetings, volunteer meetings, Unionary Hangouts, evangelism, community events, training/onboarding, conferences and programmes.
May involve venues, communications, registration, volunteers, programme planning and follow-up.
F. Partnerships & Support
- Churches and Christian organisations
- Donor and ministry-partner follow-up, reports and presentations
- Fundraising campaigns and partnerships
- Impact and testimony documentation

No candidate needs to be an expert in every area. We prioritise learning speed, coordination, ownership and execution.
Experience
There is no arbitrary minimum number of years required.
Useful backgrounds include operations, digital marketing, project management, programme management, community management, NGO/nonprofit work, church or ministry administration, startups, media and technology.
Prior experience managing multiple projects, communities or teams is an advantage.

Work Arrangement
Full-time, hybrid, based in Ajah, Lagos — 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
Outreaches, prayer meetings, events and programmes may occasionally require availability outside traditional hours. Where possible, these will be planned in advance.
